Using the app
Ting & Things gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own. Please do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or use the app to build a competing service.
Free and Premium
- The core planner, recipes, shopping basket and saved recipes are free to use.
- Premium adds unlimited meal plans, 14-day plans, smart swaps, pantry mode and PDF export.
- Premium is sold as a monthly or an annual auto-renewing subscription. The exact price is always shown in the app before you confirm, in your local currency.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown at purchase.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.
Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under their standard terms. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Recipes, nutrition and prices — important
- Cost estimates are indicative and based on typical UK supermarket pricing. Real prices vary by shop, region and season.
- Calorie and nutrition figures are estimates for general guidance and are not medical or dietary advice.
- Allergy and diet filters are a planning aid, not a safety guarantee. Always read the labels on the ingredients you buy. If you have a severe allergy, verify every ingredient yourself.
- Meal plans are generated automatically. Use your own judgement about food safety, cooking temperatures and storage.
Your content and your account
Your plans, saved recipes and lists remain yours. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time — see deleting your account.
Availability
We work to keep Ting & Things running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change or be withdrawn as the app develops. The app's core planning and recipes continue to work offline.
Liability
Ting & Things is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
